ITCI Founder

Skip's twenty-nine years as a training consultant began in 1973 with the U.S. Office of Education's Drug Training and Resource Center, Trinity University, San Antonio, Texas. In 1974, he returned to his home in Maryland and completed degrees in Mental Health, Psychology and Education. Skip also served as a career Army Reservist in the Medical Corps and served 22 years before retiring in 1993. Skip served tours of active duty during Vietnam and Desert Storm. Also, while in the military, he served as Adjunct-Faculty at the Defense Equal Opportunity Management Institute(DEOMI) in Florida from 1982-1992, and trained in numerous Army Leadership Development Programs.

In 1993, he founded the International Training Consortium, Inc. (ITCI), a national training and organization development (OD) consulting firm. Serving as its president since inception, ITCI has become a major provider of customized training and consulting services to government and Private Industry alike. He has trained hundreds of workshops on Leadership, Communications, Customer Service, Managing Change, Cultural Diversity, Sexual Harassment Prevention, Teambuilding, Supervision, Performance Management, Conflict Resolution, Counter-Terrorism, and Violence Prevention.

Skip designed and hosted the weekly talk radio show Tactical Dialogue--Success Strategies For the 21st Century, a one-hour state-of-the-art radio talk show featuring Metropolitan Washington, DC's top trainers and consultants as guests. This show was featured weekly on Baltimore and Washington Business Radio. He has been cited in Who's Who International and the National Yearbook of Experts, Authorities and Spokespersons. His dynamic speaking style and effective training techniques make him a popular speaker and consultant to public and private organizations. He is also frequently requested guest speaker and interview guest on national public radio and television.

Education
B.A. Developmental Clinical Psychology from Antioch University, Ohio (1979); Masters Degree in Education (1981) & Advanced Graduate Specialist degree (AGS) in Psychiatric Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling (1982), both from the University of Maryland in College Park, Maryland. He is a nationally Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC #15176).

Affiliations
Adjunct Faculty at the USDA Graduate School of Leadership & Management; Adjunct-Faculty at Essex College in Baltimore, Maryland, and guest speaker at Johns Hopkins University Graduate School of Management Studies and Police Executive Leadership. Membership in: American Society for Training and Development (ASTD) National.
